We’re gearing up for the busy season and seeking enthusiastic, reliable, and experienced Outdoor Education Instructors to join our team!

Programme Details

We are now accepting applications for adventure activity instructors. In the application you can indicate which programmes you would like to be considered for.

Application 1 – Day Programmes:
Ongoing work throughout the season delivering local adventure education sessions such as ABL, ropes and water-based activities.

Application 2 – Overnight Tramping Journeys:
Join us for a series of Year 9 tramps including off-track nav, river crossing and Cave Stream:
• Training: 25 November 2025
• Trips: 27–28 Nov, 1–2 Dec, 3–4 Dec

Must have: wilderness first aid certificate, tramping and overnight group experience

Application 3 – Full Season Availability:
Keen for as much work as possible? Apply for both day programmes and overnight camps. Ideal for experienced instructors with a broad skill set.

Who We’re Looking For

Confident working with school-aged participants
Skilled in outdoor instruction, group facilitation, and risk management
Flexible, proactive, reliable and able to work independently
Great communication and teamwork
Holds (or is working towards) relevant outdoor qualifications (e.g., NZOIA)
Holds relevant first aid certificate (or is willing to get before start date)
