The camp is really cool and I'm meeting some really cool people. We just started our third session. I was somewhat glad to get rid of last sessions group of kids, they were starting to get on my nerves!

I'm in a cabin with an American guy who is really cool. Air riflery is going really well as well. I spend about 5 hours a day at the range teaching which is full on but it's good fun. I've managed to see a bit of the area, I've been to Philly and NYC a few times and down to DC also. Jaz and Brett seem to be enjoying themselves at the challenge course.........

I loved my time at summer camp..... I worked as an outdoor instructor/counsellor - got to use nearly all of my skills acquired at Horizons, both leadership and technical so that was awesome, I even got a $400 bonus for the qualifications I gained from the Horizons course!!
I felt that Horizons was invaluable to me at summer camp especially in the role I was in, it has helped me so much, the other instructors over there noticed that I had skills etc that they didn't or did not necessarily expect me to have....
I would recommend it to any future Gapyear students and am about to meet up with Eddie and Meg in NY to do some travelling, can't ask for much more than that!!
